Sensei Rebecca Flynn - 1st Dan Black Belt (Senior Shodan)
Rebecca started off her training in Wado-Ryu Karate, which she studied intensely from the tender age of five before being awarded her 2nd Dan black belt in 2005. When she moved to Manchester to study at the University of Manchester, Rebecca found a Jiu Jitsu club where she immersed herself in training 4 – 5 times a week. Under the excellent tuition of the very talented Sensei John Allen, she was awarded her Instructor Level, 1st Kyu Brown belt in 2010 and attained her Shodan (1st Dan black belt) in 2023. More recently she was awarded her Senior Shodan (Senior Primary) in December 2024 a teaching promotion in recognition of her dedication and technical ability to teach in her club and at both a regional and national level. Rebecca is originally a teacher by trade, but also by nature, loving nothing more than passing on the arts to others and helping them grow in their martial arts development.
